A new study ranks bedroom colors and how they affect your sleep and the winner is....
Seems that blue in the bedroom is the way to go for that deep deep sleep! Those with BLUE walls averaged 7 hours and 52 minutes sleep. And that's on account of the fact that blue has a CALMING effect. And not only that, the color blue triggers receptors in our eyes that aid our body's natural sleep rhythms.
Purple, conversely, is the pits. Purple bedroom sleepers only sawed their logs for 5 hours and 56 minutes. Purple is a STIMULATING color which makes it tougher for your brain to shut down. Very bad.
The ten bedroom colors, ranked from most to least sleep, are, in order, blue, yellow, green, silver, orange, red, gold, grey, brown and purple.
