VALERIE HARPER: Terminal Brain Cancer
Valerie Harper has terminal brain cancer and believes she may have just months to live.
Valerie -- best known as Rhoda Morgenstern on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and its spin-off, Rhoda -- received the diagnosis on January 15th. She has a rare condition in which cancer cells infiltrate the fluid surrounding the brain, and her doctors say she may have as little as three months left.
She says, "I don't think of dying. I think of being here now."

HUGO CHAVEZ: Dead 
Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez has died. He was 58.
Vice-President Nicolas Maduro made the announcement on national television. Chavez -- long a thorn in the side of the United States -- was dealing with a cancer diagnosis when he contracted a serious infection this week.
