Dave spent the last 14 years waking up Sacramento. Before that, Dave's done time in New York, Philly, Minneapolis, Denver, DC and...Is this boy on the lam or what? Now, he's shuffled down the Valley to start things up with all that great soft rock and the most fun you can have with your radio on. Turn it on first thing every day to join in. You never can tell what'll happen on this guy's show until it happens. In fact, Dave's not really sure what just happened 'til it already did. It IS very early. Just the cows and Dave up at this hour. Come on, belly up to our breakfast table. It's always a good time!
I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and grew up with hippie parents that sold my brother and sister to the Gypsies and we lived in a VW Van - o.k. KIDDING! My husband Craig and I love to eat, camp, fish, eat, watch t.v., go to movies, eat, BBQ, hang out with friends, and did I say eat? We love to travel and we enjoy meeting new people and trying new things! It seems we are always trying to eat healthier and get active - I want to come to terms with fact I will never get back to my original weight - let's face it 7lbs and 6oz is not very realistic. Wake up with Dave and I and we'll have fun in the mornings and then spend your workday with me - I promise I will help make it go by faster with all of your favorite Soft Rock Music!
HANDS FREE WHOPPER HOLDER....LOL
It takes so much effort to hold a hamburger up to your mouth, right? We're joking around, but Burger King isn't: To celebrate its 50th anniversary in Puerto Rico, the burger chain gave away 50 of these nifty Hands Free Whopper Holders.
The item -- which is very real but looks like it shouldn't be -- is on full display in a Burger King-produced video. Wearers chow down while performing myriad other tasks, like tattooing, boxing and dog walking. None look like particularly good ideas.
Also, is it just us, or do the folks in the video look like this?

HERE IS THE ACTIVITY FOR FRIDAY MAY 31ST:
"Turtle Talks" from the husbandry staff who care for these creatures.
Since Nasa’s mission to Mars got under way on August 6, the Curiously Rover has beamed some astonishing images back to Earth that have left scientists and amateur star-gazers alike scratching their heads and envisioning UFOs.
But even seasoned alien watchers were puzzled when the rover making its way through the Red Planet send back the image of what appeared to be a fossilized human finger.
YouTube user StephenHannardADGUK, part of a group called Alien Disclosure UK, who had caused a stir on the Internet last week after pointing out white ‘flying objects’ zooming across the Martian sky called attention to a collection of ‘mysterious’ items he spotted in a video from Gale Crater.
Like birthing a child isn't scary enough, now this kooky couple is running off to Hawaii to give dolphin-assisted birth a wack. Heather Barrington and her husband Adam of South Carolina are heading out to something called the Sirius Institute of Pohoa, Hawaii to have their baby amongst the fins.
These two will prepare for the birth of their first child through a series of prenatal and postnatal swims with a pod of dolphins.
What could possibly go wrong.
Though we're not totally clear about the details, it has something to do with the (human) mother giving birth in the ocean, surrounded by dolphins. After the baby is delivered, one of the dolphins will carry the baby, perhaps balancing it on his snout, to the top os the water for its first breath. (Never mind that the dolphin could double dribble the baby or even carry it off!)
Says another couple who've tried it, "It is about reconnecting as humans with the dolphins so we can coexist in this world together and learn from one another."
I was thinking...That's why there's books and movies.
Then I thought..."Sirius Institute???" Maybe its the "Just Kidding Institute?"
We'll keep ya posted on just how that swim with the fishes turns out... (pic from animalsgallery.com)
Are you going on a first date? Okay so you may have your soulmate all locked up but do you remember how it felt? Either way, according to a new survey, here are the 5 things we expect on a first date...
1. Guys think they should compliment the woman on how she looks but women say it should be sincere and not just something vague like "you look good." (Guys...don't be dopes. Come up with something real!)
2. Women think guys should buy them a few drinks...but not too many. Guys said they'd be willing to buy her as many as she wanted. (Duh! Obvious!)
3. Women think a guy should spend between 75 and 100 bucks. Guys want to spend less. They WILL spend that much on a SECOND date...after finding out if she's interested. (Sounds like we're laying out bait traps, doesn't it?)
4. Only 54% of women think a guy needs to walk her to the door afterward. But 98% of guys said they're DEFINITELY going to...to take a shot that she'll invite him in.
5. Both men and women agree that if the date went well, the guy should go ahead and try for a kiss on the first date.
Can't ever forget that first kiss... (pic from bigpicture.in)
