
Britain's Mirror is reporting the London Olympics closing ceremony will include performances by The Who, Queen, Ray Davies, Madness, as well as a tribute to John Lennon, and comedian Russell Brand performing theSex Pistols' "Pretty Vacant" and The Beatles' "I Am the Walrus."
Highlights are said to include Davies playing The Kinks classic "Waterloo Sunset" with 270 children in costume recreating the River Thames, and Queen performing "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "We Will Rock You" with pop acts Take That and Jessie J.
Additional performers are said to include George Michael, Annie Lennox,The Pet Shop Boys, Kaiser Chiefs and One Direction. Organizers say the line-up is subject to change and won't confirm the report, saying, "We want the line-up to be a surprise."
