LIFESTYLE FUN:

A bullied Michigan teen has gotten the last laugh.

Whitney Kropp, 16, of West Branch, Mich., took to her high school football field Friday night as part of the homecoming court — even though she was originally nominated as a joke by a mean classmate.

Wearing a red dress and holding flowers, Kropp’s appearance was met with roars from the crowd. Some people traveled from neighboring towns and schools to show their support.

“I’m overwhelmed,” she said. "I'm so happy — this is so much right now for me," she added.

Kropp, a sophomore, said she has been bullied throughout her time at Ogemaw Heights High School. When she was nominated for the homecoming court as a prank last month, she became deeply depressed.

“I felt like trash,” she told CNN.

“We support her,” said 13-year-old Molly Mackey. She was holding a sign that read “To us, you are homecoming queen,” the Free Press reported.

She later said she was glad she went through with it.

She also had a message for other people victimized by bullies.

“The kids that are bullying, do not let them bring you down," she said.

"Stand up for what you believe in, and go with your heart and go with your gut. That's what I did, and look at me now. I'm just as happy as can be!”

Whitney Kropp’s story made its way to nearby schools and to Facebook. Some people came to Friday’s game just to see Kropp take her place with the homecoming court.

HOLLYWOOD DIRT:

VIDEO: Justin Bieber pukes on stage

The Biebs wasn't feeling too well during the first show of his Believe world tour in Glendale, Arizona

The Biebs played the first show of his Believe world tour at the Jobing Arena in Glendale, Arizona but he shocked fans when he threw up on the stage in front of the entire audience.

The incident was caught on film and he subsequently left the stage to compose himself, asking the audience on his return, "Will you love me even tough I'm throwing up on stage?"

Bieber refused to let his ill health affect his performance and continued the show to the end as planned.

Elton John spent his weekend on the wedding circuit -- not as a guest, as a performer ... and one of the gigs was for Jeffrey Katzenberg's daughter ... TMZ has learned.

John was a surprise guest as Laura Katzenberg (pictured below) got hitched to bigshot record producer Mark Sudack in Los Angeles this weekend.

John took to the piano and provided the music for the couple's first dance.

It's not too surprising, considering Jeffrey Katzenberg was running Disney back when Elton did the soundtrack to "The Lion King" ... and the two have been friends ever since.

But the night before the Katzenberg bash ... John performed at ANOTHER huge wedding -- when actress Holly Valance tied the knot with U.K. billionaire Nick Candy at the Paramount lot in L.A.

And back in August, Elton reportedly performed at a wedding in Canada ....after the groom made a giant donation to John's AIDS foundation.

June Shannon, Honey Boo Boo and the rest of the clan got an enormous salary raise from TLC after the second episode and they didn't even ask for it ... TMZ has learned.

Sources very familiar with the situation tell us ... the family received between $5,000 and $7,000 an episode at the beginning of the series. We're told after the second episode it was apparent to TLC they had a big hit on their hands, so network honchos approached the family and told them they were boosting their salary. Our sources would not be specific ... but they say the increase gave them somewhere between $15,000 and $20,000 an episode.

We're also told TLC volunteered to cover various expenses, including a bodyguard/driver for Sugar Bear, who was incapacitated after his ATV accident.

And there's more.  We're told TLC even offered to help the family find a somewhat larger, more secure home, but June refused.  She said she wanted to stay in the house because she makes a big deal over Christmas -- decorating the house for the community.  June is heavily involved in her town.

And one more thing on the money front.  We're told agents have been "swarming" around the family, trying to sign them but June has turned them away.  She says she doesn't want to make money the sole object of the show and she's worried if she signs with an agent that person will talk her into making various appearances that will take her away from her family.

Gotta say ... the family feels like the real deal.
