I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and grew up with hippie parents that sold my brother and sister to the Gypsies and we lived in a VW Van - o.k. KIDDING!
We love to eat, camp, fish, eat, watch t.v., go to movies, eat, BBQ, hang out with friends, hang out by the pool, play video games, cook, and did I say eat?
It seems we are always trying to eat healthier and get active - I want to come to terms with fact I will never get back to my original weight - let's face it 7lbs and 6oz is not very realistic.

We have been married over 15 years and are as happy as can be! We love to travel and explore new places. Tropical locations have been our favorite so far! It's nice to get away to the perfect tropical beach and we have been lucky to find some really nice ones! See my slide shows from trips we have taken below.
We love our cats and our dog and they are like 'kids' to us. Except they don't ask for the car keys and we don't have to pay for college...lol!

A man with a mechanical heart had to be rushed to the hospital last Christmas after eating too many helpings of the leafy green vegetable, the BBC reports.
Initially baffled, doctors at Golden Jubilee Hospital in Clydebank, Scotland concluded that the man's plentiful plateful of sprouts were to blame for his sudden sickening.
The nutrient-rich vegetable contains vitamin K, which promotes blood clotting. The doctors discovered that the sprouts interfered with the man's anticoagulent regimen, needed to maintain his mechanical ticker.
The curious case, which was reported in an Australian medical journal, illustrated that too much of a good thing -- even one's veggies -- isn't always a good idea.
"Patients who are taking anticoagulants are generally advised not to eat too many green leafy vegetables, as they are full of vitamin K, which antagonize the action of this vital medication," cardiologist Dr Roy Gardner stated in the study.

Pepsi announced Friday that 100 fans will hit the stage when the Grammy-winning diva performs on Feb. 3 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. A contest that kicks off Saturday will allow fans to submit photos of themselves in various poses, including head bopping, feet tapping and hip shaking. Those pictures will be used in a TV ad introducing Beyonce’s halftime performance, and 50 people — along with a friend — will be selected to join the singer onstage.
The photo contest — at www.pepsi.com/halftime — ends Jan. 19, but Jan. 11 is the cut-off date for those interested in appearing onstage with Beyonce.
